Golf Shop:
Positon: Seasonal Part-Time
The golf shop staff’s main job is knowledge, hospitality, and customer service. The golf shop staff is the face of the Ohio State University Golf Club. They are the first person guests have contact with when they arrive on property and even before, over phone interactions. The golf shop staff is here to help answer any questions the guest/customer may have and to accommodate the guests accordingly. The golf shop staff has the duty of knowing and relaying all golf course rules and regulations including spectators, dress code, etc. and to make sure the guest is not left in the dark when it comes to the golf course policy. The golf shop staff is also in charge of maintaining and cleaning the golf shop itself. Golf shop staff needs to make sure items are fully replenished and ready for purchase at all times. Must be able to work season based holidays.

Outside Services:
Positon: Seasonal Part-Time
The job of the outside services is to maintain the daily flow of outside activities. Outside services includes cleaning carts, pulling member bags, picking the range, and going through daily upkeep in order to maintain our standard of impeccable service. Outside service employees need to be friendly, courteous and make sure all golfers know where they are going and are aware of any events on property. Outside services must be able to stand for many hours on end and be able to lift upwards of 25-50 lbs. Must be able to work season based holidays.

Starter:
Positon: Seasonal Part-Time
The starter is the first person on the tee. The starter must run the tee sheet and ensure all groups start on time and in proper sequence. The starter is responsible for ensuring every group knows the rules for the day, golf cart restrictions, enforcing range rules and makes sure all players meet the dress code requirements. The starter needs to be friendly and courteous and needs to make sure that all golfers teeing off are told the cart rules, to please repair their ball marks, sand divots, smoking policy, pace of play, pin locations, course conditions and most importantly, thank them for playing and to enjoy their round. The starter is also responsible for managing the cleanliness of the driving range and other practice facilities. Starters must be able to stand for many hours on end and be able to lift upwards of 25 lbs.

Restaurant:
Positon: Part-Time Server
The Ohio State Golf Club Restaurant & McKenzie Pub is a full service dining area, serving lunch Tuesday-Friday from 11:00am-2:00pm and Sunday Brunch from 11:00am-1:30pm.  We also host several banquets, tournaments and golf outings throughout the year. We offer seasonal wait staff positions from April-October and limited staff  positions in the off-season months. Must be able to work season based holidays.

Maintenance:
Positon: Seasonal with Part-Time or full-time hours
Responsibilities of maintenance employee include mowing, mulching, bunker raking, use of string trimmers, blowers, and hand watering.  Flexible hours are available including weekdays, beginning at 6:00AM, and shifts ending as late as 7:00PM, as well as weekend availability. Must be able to work season based holidays. Pay rates start at $10.00 per hour.
